Dr. Bob Holsworth is a Managing Partner at DecideSmart, a company that focuses on enabling innovation to succeed. His observations on national and Virginia politics have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Times, and numerous other papers and news magazines. Dr. Holsworth was the founding Director of both the Center for Public Policy and the Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University. He was the Executive Director of the Governor’s Commission on Efficiency and Effectiveness. He has been the Director of the Virginia Executive Institute and Co-Staff Director of the Commission on the Future of Virginia’s Urban Areas, a gubernatorial commission that examined how Virginia’s urban areas could become flourishing parts of regional economies.

Jeff Evans serves as Director of Public Policy for the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). In his role, Jeff advocates on behalf of ASAE’s membership of 48,000 association professionals and industry partners on state and federal issues, including tax policy, financial services and workforce development, among others. Amid the COVID19 pandemic, Jeff's steadfast advocacy played a critical role to help secure billions of dollars of essential relief for associations through the Paycheck Protection Program. ASAE and the Institute for Credentialing Excellence are the founding members of the Professional Certification Coalition (PCC), and, as ASAE’s representative, Jeff serves on the PCC’s Steering Committee. On behalf of both ASAE and the PCC, Jeff has been closely involved with federal and state legislative initiatives that affect the certification community. Jeff began his career on Capitol Hill, has worked in the nonprofit and association communities for almost 10 years, and proudly represents the power of associations every day.
