Member Types

Association Professional

Association staff devoting 50 percent or more of their time working for voluntary, trade, professional, educational, philanthropic, technical, or similar organizations with members, donors, or both. Membership is available to association staff located within and outside of Virginia. The membership is individual.

• Basic- $310 each
• Enhanced- $365 each (first two); $195 each for third and more members

Provisional 
$310 each

Available to individuals not employed and who have served within the past 180 days as executive staff personnel devoting 50 percent or more of their working time to voluntary trade, business, professional, educational, philanthropic, technical, or similar type organizations with members, donors, or both. Membership is individual. 

$560 each for first and second memberships within the same organization
$295 each for third and more memberships

Individuals in industries that supply products, services, and facilities used directly in the management and activities of VSAE executive members and their organizations. Associate members have multiple opportunities to engage and build relationships with association executives and event planners, including:

• Listing in (and receiving) the VSAE Member Directory and Resource Guide. 
• Attend member luncheons and breakfasts, the VSAE Annual Conference, and monthly seminars.
• Receive discounted rates for exhibitor booths at VSAE's annual Expo.
• First notice of VSAE sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
• Participate with association professionals in Shared Interest Groups (SIGs). 
• Enjoy additional benefits through the VSAE Partner Program. 

Semi-Retired (contact the VSAE office to join)

Members who have maintained 10 consecutive years of Executive membership, retired from full-time association work, and are working an average of 20 hours per week or less.
