This is VSAE’s most popular annual event. Come join colleagues from your association community to recognize this year's winners of VSAE’s coveted Awards of Excellence (see below.) This event includes a Silent Auction with over 100 donated items on which to bid. Items include gift baskets, event tickets, luxurious getaways, and so much more. Proceeds will benefit VSAE’s education program and Relay For Life of Goochland, a local charity selected by VSAE’s Community Service Committee. In addition, in the spirit of the giving season, we will be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to FeedMore. Bring a couple of cans from your cupboard with you the day of the event.

Donations

Why should I donate early?

• Marketing – You will be recognized in newsletters and eNews, and listed here on the website from October until the event in December.
• Get it off your plate and relieve yourself of the phone calls and emails reminding you to donate.

Who can donate? 

Anyone! All VSAE Executive and Associate Members and organizations, as well as Non-members may donate.  

Are there any restrictions on what I can donate?

• Hardly any - BE CREATIVE!
• VSAE has set a minimum retail value of $50 for each donation.
• Any organization or individual may donate as many different items as they'd like. 

Why should I donate a bigger, or more creative and inclusive package? 

• The more unique and exciting your donation is, the more attention you will draw to your organization.
• It is an auction that you will most likely attend so you want to be proud of your donation.
• It is a customer organization, unlike most other donation requests you get for charities. Both are important but VSAE has real ties directly to the businesses.
• You believe in the organization and the cause.
• Support the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Goochland.

What if I don't have an item to donate with a minimum value of $50?

To increase participation, a Silent Auction Fund has been established for those who are unable to donate an item with a minimum value of $50. Those who contribute to the fund will be listed in the newsletter and in the event's on-site program. Simply click on the above link to make your contribution.
