Leading Under Pressure: A workshop for strengthening leadership awareness, judgment, presence, and impact in the midst of change
Registration opening in September!
Association executives lead where complexity is constant - competing stakeholder demands, public scrutiny, volunteer governance, and limited margin for error. When pressure rises, how you show up matters. This experience is designed for executives who want to lead with credibility, clarity, and steadiness regardless of the external forces at play. You’ll explore how stress influences your leadership behavior and identify the patterns you’re most likely to default to during critical moments of change or uncertainty. You’ll then learn practical leadership mindsets and behaviors that help you stay grounded, increase your situational awareness, and lead with confidence even when the environment is demanding and uncertain, and the stakes are high.
After attending this session, participants will be able to:
Learning Objective #1: Understand how stress impacts leadership behavior
Learning Objective #2: Identify behaviors that leaders often default to in critical moments of change
Learning Objective #3: Apply leadership mindsets and behaviors that increase credibility, alignment, and follow-through when it matters most
Format: In-person only Domain 2: Executive Leadership
2.00 CAE Credits (pending)
