Meeting Fatigue? How to Master Meetings and Make Them Count

What if your next meeting was the one everyone actually wanted to attend? For association professionals juggling board meetings, committee calls, member events, and staff check-ins, meetings should be where we inspire creativity, tackle tough issues, make critical decisions, and strategize for the future -- not where energy goes to die.  Here's the good news: You don't need to run the meeting to make it better. The skills you'll learn in this session will help you transform any meeting. Whether you're leading your board through strategic planning, navigating a contentious committee discussion, or participating in your CEO's staff meeting.

In this interactive session, you will learn:

1. How to create psychological safety so colleagues speak with candor, ask tough questions, and make difficult decisions, even when the stakes are high or opinions diverge

2. How to use executive coaching skills and a proven problem-solving model to improve facilitation and engagement, whether you're chairing a governance meeting or contributing as a participant; and

3. How to recognize and mitigate stress--yours and others--as you navigate the unique challenges association leaders face, from volunteer dynamics to resource constraints.  You'll leave with a practical framework you can implement immediately in your next board meeting, committee call, or staff session.
