A VSAE Learning and Leadership Series
July 22 - Whiteford Offices

Registration is now closed, contact VSAE with any questions.
VSAE is launching a new event series designed to better connect association professionals working in Northern Virginia and the broader DMV region.
The Northern Virginia Association Exchange brings together association leaders and professionals for practical education, peer discussion, and meaningful networking — all in a convenient Northern Virginia location. Each program features expert-led sessions, facilitated conversation, and dedicated time to build relationships with colleagues who understand the realities of association work.

While these programs are hosted in Northern Virginia, they are part of VSAE’s statewide professional development offerings. Association professional members from across Virginia are welcome and encouraged to attend, and each session offers opportunities to learn from peers representing a wide range of organizations.

Join us for the full 2026 series, featuring three curated programs offering 6 CAE hours (2 per session), focused on leadership, revenue strategy, and member engagement.

Facilitated Roundtable Discussion: Building Stronger Partnerships Through Collaboration
CAE Domain 6: Member and Stakeholder Engagement

Discussion Leader: Paula Douglas Seidel, CAE, IOM

Strong partnerships don't happen by accident. They are built through trust, shared goals, and intentional collaboration. Building on the previous discussion about sustainable non-dues revenue, this interactive roundtable will explore practical strategies for strengthening relationships with sponsors, volunteers, members, industry partners, and other organizations.

Through facilitated peer discussions, attendees will share challenges, exchange ideas, and develop practical approaches for identifying partnership opportunities, fostering deeper collaboration, and creating engagement that delivers long-term value for everyone involved. You'll leave with actionable ideas for building stronger organizational relationships that support your mission while creating new opportunities for growth.
