All-New WORKSHOP:
Stronger Relationships to Drive Membership, Engagement, and Revenue

Association executives may work in industries like health care, real estate, or banking—but at their core, they are in the relationship business.

This two-hour, interactive workshop is both strategic and tactical, equipping participants with the psychological insights and practical tools that successful leaders use to identify, build, and sustain strong, trusted relationships. These relationships are critical to attracting new members, deepening engagement, and accelerating non-dues revenue through partnerships, sponsorships, and programs.

Designed for association professionals and industry partners, the session emphasizes real-world application and practical takeaways that can be applied immediately across membership development, stakeholder engagement, and business growth.

Who Should Attend:

  • Association Professionals: C-Suite, Membership Leaders, and Meeting Planners
  • Associate Members responsible for sales and marketing

Lunch Session:

What AI Can’t Do, and Never Will

Artificial intelligence is powerful, permanent, and rapidly reshaping how work gets done—but it is not personal or persuasive.

In this engaging 20-minute keynote, business relationships expert Rodney Schlosser explores the one advantage technology cannot replicate: authentic human connection. In an environment where automation is accelerating, strong, trusted relationships remain the foundation of meaningful engagement, influence, and decision-making.

This session will remind and inspire attendees that while AI can enhance efficiency, it ultimately supports—not replaces—the relationships that drive membership, partnerships, client trust, and long-term success. Whether you work in sales, member services, advocacy, or community relations, you’ll leave with renewed clarity on why relationships still matter most.

Presenter

Rodney Schlosser presents keynotes and leads workshops for leaders who want to build strong relationships with clients/customers, partners, community/government officials, and other key stakeholders. His talks are a blend a discussion of research in human behavior, interactive exercises, and powerful anecdotes from real-world success – having led business development for 2 decades at a B2B vendor as annual revenues exploded from <$100 million to >$8 billion. He’s also served as chair and vice chair on both public and private boards. Rodney is in high demand with trade associations, corporations, and non-profits because his presentations are engaging, applicable, and motivating. Attendees leave with new perspectives, refreshed skills and the confidence to supercharge their results and drive outstanding outcomes.
