Are you unsure of where to start to produce a virtual meeting? Do you wonder how to make the most of human interaction in these virtual methods? Are you wondering what types of roles are necessary to produce virtual meetings and events? While live, in-person, face-to-face events are preferred, we can embrace this current virtual reality as a challenge and an opportunity to learn and promote growth of the virtual segment of meetings and events and to further expand and enhance live events. This course is a mix of online learning, facilitated participant idea exchange, short assignment work (during session), and group discussion. Important Note: During the breakout section of this course, your participation is requested. Please be prepared to turn on video and audio features and to engage in small group discussion.

After attending this session, participants will be able to:

• Identify approachable actions to begin producing virtual events on their own.
• Apply fundamentals and define key roles to execute a virtual event.
• Determine steps to discovering and selecting a virtual platform to meet the goals and objectives of the event.
• Understand how to strategically design a virtual event with all stakeholders in consideration.
