YMCA Bright Beginnings Shopping Trip
The YMCA Bright Beginnings program ensures children in our community are prepared and confident for the school year by providing them with school supplies. They are also given quality time with their Shopping Buddy as they look for two new outfits, shoes, socks, underwear, a new jacket, and share a meal. Make a difference in your community and help prepare a child for success in school. Caring adult volunteers are needed for a variety of roles to help make YMCA Bright Beginnings a success.

What You Need to Know

• Age requirement: 15 years and older
• Shift: Wednesday, August 3 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
• Limit of 6 volunteers
• Dress code: Slacks and shirt with comfortable shopping shoes. YMCA will provide a smock to wear over your clothes so that you are easily recognized as being with the program.

Helpful Hints

• Cell phones can be used for calculators ONLY
• Pen and paper are handy to write a list of costs so you stay within budget
