Meetings and conferences are a big focus for many associations and non-profits. These events are where members receive continuing education, engage with the association, and stay up to date on the latest and greatest in the industry. In fact, associations are the number one provider of adult education in the world. The association staff charged with creating and executing these meetings must possess a unique set of skills and face a growing list of challenges, namely delivering higher quality meetings with limited resources.
You are being asked to do more with less. And how do you rise to this challenge? What tools and resources do you need to be able to continue executing high quality meetings with limited resources?
This year’s 2016 Meeting Planner Summit is focused on answering these questions and more. Content will cover many aspects of planning a successful meeting including what you need to know about audio-visual technology and how to hire the best speakers on a shoestring budget. There will also be sessions on time management and the six C’s of great communication with your members.
