Seminar - Volunteer Excellence: Creating Opportunities for Amazing Volunteer Experiences

Lowell Aplebaum, CAE will present, "Volunteer Excellence: Creating Opportunities for Amazing Volunteer Experiences". Volunteers serve in so many key roles - they are visionaries and sources of strategic insight. They are the feet on the ground, our welcome committee, and source of fiscal oversight. They give of their time and talent at all hours of the day. It is their association. In this session we will look at how we can repay our volunteers for their generous hearts with amazing volunteer experiences. We will examine and craft approaches such as:
- The Volunteer Lifecycle - From Recruitment to Training to Evaluation, how is our volunteer management structure comprehensive and encouraging of ongoing commitment.
- Top 5 Volunteer Pitfalls - Strategies for success to avoid these time-old problems.
- Sustainable Volunteer Incubators - Volunteers who pilot programs independently, adding to the association community.
- Plus more!

Attendees will leave the session with a better understanding of how to lead and create amazing experiences for their volunteers.
