Association management companies face unique challenges. With a foot in both the for-profit business world and the non-profit association world, AMCs must be able to establish their own identity while seamlessly serving a number of clients in varied industries, professions, and fields. These challenges require AMCs to come up with innovative solutions and out-of-the-box thinking in order to remain competitive. But from where?

The VSAE AMC Retreat is aimed at helping AMC owners, senior leaders, and staff tackle these challenges, better serve their clients, and develop themselves as association leaders. This year’s retreat will focus on giving you the tools to succeed, both for your clients and as an AMC.

Day one will include case study presentations from fellow AMC leaders. Topics include how to create peer-to-peer learning groups for your clients, membership recruitment and retention, building strong client contracts, and employee evaluations. Fellow AMC members will present case studies on successes including time for Q&A and discussion. Content on day two will include technology for AMCs and marketing and communication strategies for you to grow your AMC.
